The Power Path School of Shamanism was started by Jose and Lena Stevens for the purpose of offering practical shamanic education in an organized way for those who wish to study and practice shamanism. The curriculum is based on a synthesis ofJosé & Lena's integrative study, apprenticeships, personal discovery and many years of experience in working with shamans from around the world. We offer cross cultural experiential courses, retreats, seminars and travels. The Power Path is a proactive approach to life. Rather than living in reaction to what others believe and dictate, the Power Path offers an alternative of nature based practices that connect you with your own power to live the life you want.

We are well aware that traditionally speaking there is no such thing as a formal school of shamanism. Shamans in training apprentice themselves with elder shamans in very private and long-term situations. However in these modern times few people have access to traditional shamans and yet they want to know much more about shamanic ways to become powerful, ways that have been so helpful to people over the millennia. To meet these needs we are offering a school with experiential classes, seminars, trips, and retreats that cover many cross-cultural aspects of shamanism. Our purpose is not to formally initiate shamans but to educate as many people as possible in the shamanic traditions of this planet. In particular we expose students to the shamanic healers among the Shipibos in the Amazon, the Andes in Peru, and the Huichol tradition from Mexico. We hope you will enjoy our offerings.
