A rare opportunity to spend a week in a beautiful open-air environment, immersed in Shamanic practice, fascinating information and deeply transformative experiences with Jose, Lena and Anna in this powerful retreat at one of our favorite places on the planet. An hour north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and near the little town of San Francisco (San Pancho), is a small private rustic beach resort we have all to ourselves for 6 days of heaven on earth. The theme of “PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE” is a crucial one for these times as we are in the midst of a great realignment and transformation as well as an opportunity to permanently change what we believe and how we manifest. The retreat will be rich in shamanic experiences and promises to be inspiring, insightful, and life changing.

Special guest Patricia Liles (who used to write the astrology updates for the Power Path) will be joining us and lending her astrological wisdom around the current themes and how to best navigate 2027 working around the theme of preparation and what we need to pay attention to as we move into our future..

In addition to great teachings and deep experiences, you will have plenty of free time to walk on the beach, swim in the ocean, explore the jungle, hang out in a hammock, nap, and visit with each other. Most of the class time will be held in a very large and exquisite yoga studio overlooking the ocean and all the morning chi gong practices with Jose will be on the beach!

The food is fresh and fabulous, the well water drinkable out of every faucet, and the like-minded community very nurturing. We include an optional fun and festive whale watching and swimming excursion by a large stable catamaran, daily group class times, fire ceremony on the beach, a personal shamanic healing by one of us, morning chi gong with Jose, and plenty of beach, relaxation and community time. Accommodations are by double rooms for couples and family members (limited availability) and cabins that sleep 3 or 4 singles. There are no single rooms. Not suitable for anyone with extreme dietary needs or allergies or any mobility issues as the pathways are steep with steps and stairs up to most of the rooms and cabins and the group excursions include walking on uneven trails and long stretches of sand.

Meals are cooked on site, with fresh ingredients (and the best homemade corn tortillas made daily you will ever taste). The kitchen can accommodate gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarians. The kitchen cannot accommodate very restricted diets, strict vegans, or food allergies to commonly used ingredients such as onions, garlic, tomato, cilantro, peppers, citrus, vinegar, eggs and common Mexican spices. It is not an option to bring your own food (other than snacks) due to lack of available refrigeration and storage. There is always a good supply of fresh fruit as well as fresh fish at almost every meal.

The nearest airport is Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and we will schedule several pick-up times on the afternoon of the 20th by suburban taxi to bring you to the resort. The retreat starts once everyone has arrived on the 20th with dinner and an evening program. So please make sure your flight arrives by 3PM at the latest. Depending on where you are coming from, some in the past have flown in a day early, stayed overnight in Puerto Vallarta and then met one of the shuttles back at the airport. Later arrivals on the 20th may need to book your own transportation to the resort. Check in time is 3PM for those coming in from any local areas by your own car or taxi (no earlier please). We will officially end with an evening program on January 25th for those of you with early flights the next day. If your flight back to the US is any earlier than 11:00 AM you may need to arrange for a private taxi as the first one usually leaves at around 8 AM. Check out time is by 11AM on January 26th for those of you making your own arrangements to extend your trip in another location..

A $600 deposit will hold your space, and is non-refundable and non transferable at the time of registration. Balance is due on November 15th, 2026  Neither credits nor refunds can be given for this retreat. We recommend purchasing travel insurance in case you need to cancel for any reason, and we have had good experience with both TravelGuard (www.travelguard.com) and Aardy (www.aardy.com). Travel suggestions and a packing list will be sent upon confirmed registration with a paid deposit. Space is limited and this retreat usually sells out. Price does not include special drinks, tips for the boat trip and the resort staff, transportation other than the scheduled vans, or your airfare to and from Mexico.
