New Moon / Equinox Update 3-21-23

Dear Friends,

The Equinox (Spring in the northern hemisphere and Fall in the Southern Hemisphere) is Monday March 20 at 3:25 Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

This Equinox is about balance, harmony and the beginning of a new cycle. It is best to honor the end of one cycle and the beginning of another even if you do not yet have clarity about what the new one will bring into your life. Think of it as the start of a new adventure, and, combined with the energy of the New Moon, this time is perfect for realignment and renewal.

Some plans may need adjustments, and the cooperative quality of the times breeds community involvement and co-creative involvement in projects.

March 2023 Monthly Forecast

The theme for March is: “Turbulence Ahead”.

This is an exciting time that will be inspiring to some and terrifying to others. Make sure your seat belts are fastened and your basic security needs are met. This is a month where some of you will be delighted and inspired by the ignition of creative energy fueling the intentions and projects that were stagnant in their movement forward. Others of you may be hit with karmic completions that rear their heads for you to deal with before anything else can move forward. And some of you will still feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of clearing and releasing and uncluttering that still needs to be done.

The Explosion of Interest in Medicine Plants: What we need to know

Most of you are probably acquainted with the great interest in a variety of medicine plants or entheogens being researched for treatment with veterans and others suffering from PTSD and a variety of other disorders like obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, anxiety, and various addictions. When interest in some of these plants and chemical compounds like MDMA and LSD in the nineteen sixties and seventies arose showing much promise as healing compounds, great fear among conservative government officials and other traditionalists rendered most of these them illegal and they were made schedule one drugs, a felony if someone had possession or consumed them. Researchers were no longer allowed to study them and they were off limits in every way for quite a few years.

The 4th zodiac sign of the lunar cycle, Rabbit fully emerges on February 4th. The last Water Rabbit was 1963.
