1999 – Annette Benning / Kevin Spacey: Everyone should see this flick. It is quirky, inspirational, funny, insightful, and powerfully acted.
An example of how older soul values can be slipped across in a good film without lecturing or self-consciousness. Kevin Spacey plays a mature soul miserably married to a young soul wife, superbly acted by Annette Benning. It is the story told from beyond the grave, about how he finally woke up at age 42 during his 4th internal monad, only to die from a karmic life situation. Kevin Spacey’s heart-throb teen idol is a scared, arrogant young soul. His daughter is a mature soul infatuated by the drug dealer kid next door clearly a realist, mature old soul who is just trying to make it out of the house. The film does a good job of tricking you into believing that the drug dealer is just another psycho and then slowly exposes his true character. This film is worth seeing more than once.
