Nature Solo Retreat
June 23-27, 2025
in Northern New Mexico.
This 5 day event is a perfect way to reconnect to nature and take some personal time for self exploration and inner reflection in a safe supportive environment. A 3 night solo can be hugely transformative and give you a deep reset for body, mind and spirit.
It has never been more helpful or important during these times of psychic, mental and emotional clutter to detox from it all with a nature solo. Known by some traditions as a vision quest, this is an opportunity to become clear of worry, anxiety, mental chaos and confusing emotions. It is a time of deep healing, connection to the earth and the elements, giving you the opportunity for a recharge and a reset. You are well supported during your solo by the Power Path staff holding a strong container through prayer as well as logistical attention.
The location is a 1,000 acre nature preserve with glorified camping facilities: a 30 foot yurt for group meetings, an outdoor kitchen and dining area for group meals, outhouses, and a shower house with on demand hot water. The meals we serve are simple but delicious with vegetarian and gluten free options. When doing a solo program, you have the option of fasting, bringing simple, no-cook food for yourself (no fires or stoves allowed), or bringing makings for a master cleanse (lemons, maple syrup, cayenne) for your three nights out.
We supply plenty of clean, fresh water and have solo sites that range from a long steep hike to a drop-off site that requires no walking, and everything in between. We place you on a site that will support your ability and your tent size, as well as your preference for a specific landscape. You will stay on that site for three nights.
The solo is supported energetically by on-site Power Path Practitioners doing prayers, checking in with you energetically as well as making sure that plenty of water and safety are provided. You will arrive by 4pm on the afternoon of the first day and dinner is provided. with an orientation and preparation for your solo. After a night in camp and breakfast (also provided), you will go out on solo for three nights. At 9am on the fourth day you will be brought back to camp and, after a brunch and a debrief, the program will end around noon.
You will need a small tent, pad, light sleeping bag, rain gear and good shoes. A detailed list of what to bring, a questionnaire, orientation sheet, release form and directions to Eagle Bear will be provided closer to the event.
